Queen's Jubilee Pageant

Just 60 places for motorboats and 300 for rowers. Am I reading this right?

Yes, mostly traditional rowing craft like this one:

Numbers seem sensible to me,in that about 20 or so more boats in the "Tupperware" fleet than on the practice, would appear to pretty managable........
SarahT is keeping her bollards crossed :)
Do we know when the lucky dip is to take place ?

Out of interest by pure chance I've just worked on 2 boats that are invited to the parade, a 1958 staniland and a broom 50, all sounds very interesting I hope to find the time to be there to see all.

Paul, presume they have actually got stuff in writing err.. (email ?) as have several contacts who have yet more chums awaiting a verdict and no sign of any info anywhere from anyone as yet ?
Would have also expected the "thanks but no thanks" communications to have gone out at same time.

The Staniland has invite for sure as he is busy fitting all the safety gear and has had to add the services of a skipper thats familiar with the tidal Thames.

The broom 50 im told has been asked to drive martin broom and some lord leutenant about.
