Hey guys does anyone know if the QL BP900 bow thruster has the same gearbox as the QL SP1300 model.

Hi
Yeah I see the housing part number is different.
My bp900 gearbox is knackered and have see the sp1300 for sale and wasn’t sure if the gearbox mount was the same.

When I bought my boat it had a QL BP450 with a knackered gearbox and the seller agreed to get it fixed before the purchase. As parts were no longer available for the BP450 the company who did the work for him sourced a Vetus gearbox & prop that used a tunnel of identical bore dimension and fitted that. They grafted it to the drive of the QL motor and it worked. Still works after 8 years. This made it a simple, quick and cost effective process without having to change the tunnel or any of the electrical system. Something for you to consider?
