Is there a law stipulating such a short life span or is this a manufacturer's way of selling more ? Having seen ten year old flares working perfectly I wonder what is a realistic period.
Obviously storage conditions must play a great part - one can accept that wet flares may either be dangerous or not work at all .I think that perhaps most of us use watertight containers and given the high price are entitled to know the facts.
