Pwllheli marina advice

If I ever get speaking Welsh, I'll cut me tounge out.

There are times... you cant speak English :)

Wait till I tell Mark in Caernarfon !!

Think Mark must come from Lancashire, proper bloke.

Ahaa! I think you'll find he's from Yorkshire...... still they cant be all bad ? :) :)

Tom

Ahaa! I think you'll find He speaks Welsh;)

Can understand Haydns criticsm of lack of service ...
The Davits saga ...

We had damaged stanchions this year at start of our holiday...
Found a guy to repair and weld them in Pwllheli on next (Saturday) morning (Llyn Marine highly recommended).:)
Still had some beer money left in my wallet... ;)

I have to admit experiences of service from other trades has been poor.
Sprayhood and dodgers ordered May for delivery end June no sign of them being delivered yet.:( Well they keep telling me they will be newer next season:confused:)

Central Heating Oil tank turned up two days late but at least it was the same week as promised.!

5 tonnes of readymix concrete delivered 3 hours late and rapidly going off.

Mind you, brother had Helicopter trip to hospital 10 mins to Bangor from Aberdaron now thats service, but no return ticket:D

You have to remember when your on the Llyn. Its like being in the "islands mahn".
In the islands there is always a "Fixer" who knows a local who can.

I find it is common to find that Welsh Fixers are first or second generation english colonists who speak welsh(badly).:)

There you go Tom has just provided me with another example. I am sure we all know the other forumite who has been learning Kwelsh:D:D
