My boat is on its trailer, went out into the garden to check on her during Darragh's 60mph winds here. She and trailer were rocking in the wind, all that happened was the tow socket dropped of its pile of breeze blocks, onto the jockey wheel.
The rear wheels were chocked.


Years ago 1982? A 126 mph gusting gale in the outer Hebridies. A previous boat got blown across a car park on its trailer, between two cars without hitting either, ( you could follow the skid marks as the brakes were on) stopping 50 yards away against the curb, the only damage was a shredded cover.. was very lucky on that one...
