Pulpit price

I've just been quoted £3000 for a pulpit for my Countess 33.

Is this reasonable?

Is that less ambiguous?

Without knowing the design, I would think it very expensive. I had a split pulpit made in 25/18mm 316 stainless tube for €320 in Malta in 2008.That included two AquaSignal 25 low-level navigation lights.

Have you managed to find a similar boat with a pushpit to use as a pattern?
An agreeable owner might let you measure up and take photos to provide the fabricator with.

I have many photos of Countess 33s and a friend who has made a fair few pulpits. The bow angle is 45° which is causing him some scepticism but it is necessary to match it.

I've sorted the pushpit myself cobbled from odd pieces of tube and I will do the same for the pulpit once the angles are looking something like.
