As I keep my boat at Gravesend this sounds rather convenient! However St Katts is very expensive nowadays - in the region of £45 for an 8 metre boat and the lock is notoriously slow. Limehouse is much cheaper, £26 for 8m and tho the lock only takes 4 boats at a time maximum we have proved a fleet of 12 or more boats can get in quicker at Limehouse than at St Katts! Not as atmospheric but quieter once actually trying to sleep. The people who run Limehouse are very friendly, helpful and efficient which is not always the case at St Katts and if you make a mess of the locking there are less onlookers.

By the way, I have seen a price list for Queenborough for this year and using one of their visitors buoys seems to have gone up to £12 per night.

also with Limehouse, club discounts are available. 2 summers ago we had 5 nights for under £100. that was a superb deal, electricty was extra by pre pay card
