Propeller fell off after 1 hour, what to do?

The "Propeller Man" has agreed to pay after seeing those images. But still argues what is shown is not their work.

Apparantly their insurer will be in touch.

They requested removal of this thread, but i see no reason given i did not name him or even if i had i have said nothing untrue.

Shall wait and see and update when i have payment. Just a shame they didn't sort it out in the first place and avoid all this trouble.

A lot of asks to look innocent me thinks when in reality it took the hard evidence to force this action.

Thank you to everyone who gave advice, it has been most helpful. I expect these mistakes won't be made again.

Great result. Well done Neil. As regards Mr Propeller, he hasn't covered himsef in glory but if you scrapeg the barrel to find something ok about him i suppose it would be that someone who finds his way to doing the right thing 3 weeks late is quite a lot better than someone who continues to run away.

Just as as a point of interest, did the Propellor Man fit the propellor himself or did he have an apprentice do it. It is always better to be their when things are done.

As I took these photos the other day you were forefront in my mind. I just couldn't help myself, I almost feel if I hadn't photographed them they would have fallen off just to spite me !

A good result getting the props paid for. To be fair I think we all agree it was the only way forward and common sense prevailed in the end.

Well unfortunatly still no resolve.

After saying they would pay they then waited a few weeks to ask us to send our costs again for some reason unless they had changed.

We said they had not changed, and then sent them the costs again once we heard nothing back.

We've had no contact at all via post, email or phone (and yes we have tried contacting him by all these methods) in a while so sending it to court.

Will name and shame after the outcome of that!

What a shame, could have sorted this all out privatly if he had wanted.

Well I know your man, to be honest im not his favourite fan as im following up on him on a few jobs just lately, I will remind him of his ways next time I see him, I wonder what shade of Red he will turn?

Maybe a visit in person would sort out your problem with him, face to face usually nets a result!!.

Hi Paul,

I don't get that impression at all, and I have waited 4 months now without any action from his side from what i can see.

Coupled with his refusal to put anything in writting, it's time to go to court. I'm not going any further out of my way to persuid him to do the right thing.

All the best,

Neil
