Proof of Purchase/Sale

Had an offer on my P32, which was advertised on Boats & Outboards. When I bought her it was through a Brokerage and I recieved a proof of purchase form with an MCA header on it. What happens with a private sale? The boat isn't registered so is a bit of paper confirming transfer of ownership sufficient for the new owner?

You can download and print copies of the Bill of Sale document from the MCA website its an adobe acrobat pdf form

you need original bills of sale going back as far as you can..

without these you do not know history of boat.
