Proof of adress?

Another thing that I don't think has been suggested here previously is the electoral register. Are you somehow on this? If so, and being official, that could perhaps be used as proof of address for other things?
 
Perhaps does not work. They all follow the letter of the law, period.

Sorry, I more meant that I wasn't entirely sure whether or not electoral register documents were on the official list, and hence the perhaps. It's hard to imagine why the associated documents (voting cards, etc.) wouldn't be deemed acceptable, but then logic doesn't necessarily follow with these things! For example, who's bright idea was it to limit a council tax bill to having to be less than three months old when it's only issued once a year!
