Popped up to see how work is going on at the Lock.
3 Large boats encamped on the bottom side Lock moorings.

In an anoraky way it's interesting to not that they are not using the existing stop plank slots, but have new steel narrow beams - which get quite rusty - retained by brackets. Probably custom made for each lock?

Nothing much seems to have happened fro the "refurbishment" point of view. Very nice staging and planks but the chamber walls look untouched.

Thats pretty much how i would do a job like this . Make my own safety set up first and then start work . It makes the job faster in the long run if you have everything sorted out and in place .
