Probably discussed before but - Single Prop Petrol or Twin diesel?

Not at all. What makes it seem much bigger than its 30ft length is the amount of useable accommodation Brooms managed to get into it. Bear in mind it's only 1 foot longer than the Mirage you mentioned earlier but with so much more to offer.

Single engine for river economy. Wing engine as backup - especially if you venture tidal later. 2 Steering positions - one outside for our glorious summers - one inside for our glorious summers(!). Amazing space inside for the length. Great saloon with excellent natural light (actually excellent natural light throughout). Sleeps 4 in comfort. Unusually wide side decks (for this length of boat) makes for very safe environment for crew. Rock solid and excellent build quality. I could go on but I see you're dozing off :)

For a river boat with estuary and coastal capabilities in reasonable weather you won't do better IMHO. When I get old and crotchety (even more than I am now!) and give up the coast and come back to the Thames it's what I'd buy.

But then I am a Broom owner (but not dodgy :) )

Nice

This is probably a silly to you but why has the outside helm got two control levers and inside one?....sorry newbie

She has a 'Wing engine'

Central Perkins on a shaft, with an auxiliary 11hp Nanni on the port side.

Great for manoeuvring, or a bit of extra speed and stability on the tideway!

She would do 5mph on that Nanni! :encouragement:

Only one control. She was only really helmed from the top, unless coming back from St Kats in the rain, then it was 'Banging' choons' and Cheese sandwiches inside. The choons drowned out the Perkins when flat out!! :D
