Hi,
This may sound to be a bit of a lazy question (as in, I could just look) but it is awkward to get at the bottom of my gearbox.

What is the best way to replace the oil in my PRM 101 gearbox?
Should I get the thing warm, struggle to find the sump plug and something to drain it into that will fit underneath, or do I just purchase a small hand pump and get the thing warm, stuff the tube in the filler and pump the oil out?
Do I need to get the gearbox warm before changing the oil?

Thanks
Mike.

The usual way is to pump it out, with a nylon pipe thro' the filling hole. I've never warmed up the oil first, I suppose it depends on the grade of oil, mine is ATF so is fairly thin and is pumped out easily
