We are a New Zealand couple wanting to cruise the eastern Med for a few months this year. Rather than buy a yacht we'd prefer to hire one privately. Firstly, is this a possiblity? Secondly, what is the best way to find someone wanting to hire out their boat? In return we offer a reasonable fee, Merchant Navy, Ocean Yachtmaster and Dayskipper qualifications, skills in maintaining and repairing yachts, very responsible attitudes, references and a few decades of sailing experience.
