Princess V48 photos and review

So what happens if you order a 3 cabin version of the forthcoming Targa 48 'Open" (no patio doors) boat.
Think about it, where's your TV and soft furnishing lounge area?

It's not just Prinny ,I have noticed this trend on SS ,not sure with Fairline ,not seen JFM s in the flesh .
I guess more of a fashion thing over safety ?
Oh come on, how dull to design all your furniture to be super safe! The photos henryf posted above show rounded corners on the tables and other places where arguably it matters (thigh-bashingly). The main "sharp" corner was at the end of the kitchen units to the right of the microwave but if you're clumsy enough to split your head there then you need to be a bit more careful. These boats are important toys and style definitely does come into it in my books :D

Thanks for picking up on this JFM
All the downstairs pic show / illustrate in my view ( pic paints a 1000 words) v sharp corners ,not just the galley area.
However the upstairs pic a more rounded approach .Check out the sofar in the cabins downstairs for example - ouch ! That corner looks potentially painful?
Go back and revisit the Op,s pics ..carefully !
It's as if the pic,s are from two different boats ,or different design teams worked with a bit of liaison ,one for each level ?
Or " bean counters " influenced the final design ? Reason I postulate this ( happy to be corrected ) is that the 90 degree corners are cheaper to produce than a CNC machined rounded edge that takes " chippy 4 hours to hand finish ? I dunno ?
Or it's actually the fashon trend ( nothing wrong with that ) give em what sells?
Just seems odd me (tables and beds excepted ) that upstairs all is rounded , and downstairs all is sharpy .
I,am fashon neutral on the " dullness" of the edges ,are you saying sharper edges are more trendy and rounder edges ?
If so please explain - cos this boat has / appears to have subjected to 2 different design philosophy's from an " edge " point of view .
But as I said all the uk builders are at it - sharp edges nowt wrong with it if sells boats in the 2 nd decade .
