We recently purchased a 2020 Princess F55. Only 120 hours and one owner - immaculate condition apart from sun damage on the bow cockpit. Leather has faded, bubbled, blistered, come away from the base/board and is very sticky. We believe it is a defect. Anyone else had this issue? We are in Australia. Thin in hog making a warranty claim

No fabrics will last if left exposed to the sun.
They will need replacing at some time anyway.
The external cushions on our Princess are removable so we always take them inside when we aren't using the boat.
As a result, they last much longer.

IMO, something like this - it is better to get the repairs done (rather than get yourself into an argument that you probably won't win) - "and move on".
Put it behind you and concentrate on enjoying the boat.
Whilst doing the repairs, you could make some improvements (different/better fabrics etc) - that might make you feel better.

this is a problem with all princess interior fabric, once the boat reaches hot countries, the fiber glass will cook again, releasing styrene fumes, which will release the glue and create the bubbles, you can puncture a very small hole with a syringe and use a hot air gun to re stick it, but will release after a short period, the best way is to remove all the panels and recover them !! its a pain, but the only way
will take at least 1 month on a 55 to be done !!

we have 16 boats effected in dubai !
