Hello all,

The original owner of my 2009 Princess 54 very kindly donated to me a spare roll of the original stone leather which is used in the saloon furniture. I think there is enough to re-do the downstairs helm seats (and maybe even the dining table sofa). He has already done the saloon sofa which looks great. Does anyone have any recommendations for a top quality re-upholstery company? It will be a great way to keep my interior fresh and in the original spec.

Thank you!

sewtrim.co.uk High quality at non marine prices. Apart from doing my boat they did my Morgan seats in leather for substantially less than the specialists and just as good.

I’m back to square one on this one. Got a quote from MJM, but he says that they won’t strip out or refit. To my mind putting the furniture back together again and back into the boat is a critical part of the finish….

Am thinking of trying Setag instead….

Having instructed Setag to refurb our Targa 47 I would have no hesitation in recommending them for this job. The upholstery is the part we were most pleased with on our job. You get the chance with their design team to come up with something very premium and unique and the one stop service for the job, included removal and fitting makes it hassle free. Yes you may pay a little bit more but I’m sure you won’t be disappointed with the finished job. Definitely worth a discussion with them.
