Princess 38 2000 onwards

We are thinking of buying a P 38 this is the model with stairs to the fly bridge my question is,does anyone have one that is around 3 hours or so from London that would be willing to allow my wife and myself to have look on the inside and ask questions

I was in the market for one but when I looked I preferred the 40.
Are you thinking about buying one abroad ?
Phantom 38 is the Fairline equivalent.

I see Volvopaul preferred a P40

It’s got two heads iso just one so you loose the space across the saloon and cockpit

Just two of us overnight means much prefer the accommodation

We love ours to bits. Perfect for the Solent
Good FW capacity too

looking to buy either p388 or f38/41 phantom approx 1990

the f38/41 is nicer, but higher asking price (£80k), has bow thruster, prob 41ft overall

The p388, is basic, bigger salloon layout, no transom door, £20k less, 500 engine hrs,, all seems to be in nice condition, claims faster ?, measured at 38.5 ft

Both have tamd61aa,


what are pros and cons ?

F38 is burmham, p38 is chatham
