Princess 32 / 37 decks

I am purchasing a p 32 and have looked at a few and the walkways and deck are covered in what is meant to look like teak decking.
It seems to be moulded in but all the ones i have looked at are damaged in some way, either chips , cracks or discoloured.
Is this anything to worry about?, is it delamination?or is it just a surface coating.
Finally what can be done about it?

I just sold our P32. It had the same problem and whilst it doesn't look as good as it could it is just superficial. Not sure what you can do - we looked at some possible options (e.g. Tek Dek or some similar name) but concluded that the shape of the boat precluded any teak imitations. Only real option was some kind of deck tread covering the whole deck or just leave it - we chose the latter.
