So i want to get my primocon coat on the hull today as the weather held me off yesterday.
There is a little bit of intermittent rain... i cannot find any information saying its ok.to do this.

Does anyone think it would be a really bad idea to just get on with it today?

The surface must be dry

the minimum ambient temperature is 5C

the minimum product temperature is 5C

and the surface temperatue must be a minimum of 3C above the dew point,

for the latter to be true at current ambient temperatures the relative humidity must be no more than 80%

The nearest official observations to where I am yesterday were tempearture in the range 3.1 to 4.0C and RH 86 to 91%

today the forecast is 4 to 7C and 79 to 84% with a 40% chance of rain this afternoon.

Depending upon your location you could consider rigging up a shelter and get on with it as conditions will not significantly improve over the next few days

I am in the same situation with the same paint, I am desperate to prime my hull but it's been too damp. The Primocon data (free online) mentions the temperature of the paint, the temp of the air, and the dewpoint.

The dewpoint will be wrong if it is a damp drizzly day unfortunately, the air needs to be a bit warmer and drier than it is right now, so in my opinion you should wait for a few warm dryer days.

Horribly frustrating I know, but I have spent over £100 on Primocon, and have a wooden boat and need to get it right.

If you can't get the data sheet, pm me your e and I will send you a link, cheers Jerry ..no need Vic beat me to it..
