Priming small patch of exposed glass fibre below water line

When hauled out in October, the pressure wash exposed a small area ~3” diameter of bare fibreglass. It’s just below the top of the antifoul at the stern and doesn’t actually sit below the water surface unless sailing.

For such a small patch, can i use some Jotun Pengaurd Express as an epoxy primer (already have plenty of this) or should I really purchase something different?

Suggest you fill and fair with an epoxy filler such as Watertite then prime and antifoul.
