And a Snorkel ?
I look after a prestige 36 with 63p engines in I had to ring the dealer on site at swanwick walton marine, they simply didnt have a clue about the type of sternglands even in the boat, struck me after asking other questiions they either didnt have a clue about there product or they were being no co operative as to get the work in themselves, not this one as its on the braods now, didnt inspire me with any confidence of the product or backup at all.
Shame as the boats not that bad just tightly built together with bits fitted in the wrong places, like the tanks!! they take some trimming down when on the plane even with those big motors in as all the weights in the stern.
Hi All, You can have tabs fitted to a 36, the profile of the transom below the waterline is awkward though and you are limited, we had Bennett tabs fitted and if you use the correct width (Known as the chord) they are straightforward to fit. Bennet know the correct fitment for the Prestige 36, but if you can wait a week I can let you know what size ours are.
Fitment of the pump and operating system is easy, there is ample space in the lazerette.
Because of the transom shape it is not possible to fit Volvo QL tabs.
The tabs make a major improvement to upwind travel into a head sea, eliminating slamming, we have been out in some big seas in comfort that we would not have attempted without the tabs.
