I would say never assume it has been tested.

Lots of surface area, a little pressure will be a lot of force. I like the idea of a high up hosepipe.

take one Parahandy
Fill it with Beef Stew, 3 pints of Pipers Gold and a half bottle of Fleurie.
Sit said Parahandy on bog and wait normally about 17 minutes.
Wear Ear Protectors and welders mask
Instruct said Parahandy to flush bog.
Take up station adjacent to holding tank.
Pressure testing ought to be completed within 3 minutes - dont remove welders mask until operation complete.

That's why I suggested he check whether it had been.

If it was made by a reputable firm it will have been tested to higher pressure than you could get yourself, as tillergirl says (and certified if you ask).

Really cannot see any point in faffing about trying to test it yourself.
