Potton Bridge has suffered from a mechanical failure and is out of action. Spare parts have been ordered and the operators expect the bridge to be back in action within 7 days.

Must be me driving Horse Lorries over it for the last few weeks.

Just had a call from Shoebury Ranges, Potton Bridge is now operational again.

This morning driving over it one end was sticking up by a couple of inches. This morning it was level again.

If it needs big repairs the MOD won't be keen to fund it.
