Have you thought of this:
First get a blown fuse,
then run with lights out and inform relevant authorities that you are experiencing electrical problems
If you need nav lights turn them on and then off as soon a problem has passed.
If it looks like your going to be boarded insert blown fuse and act dumb or show blown fuse to boarders and still act dumb claiming you "think" you have found the problem, also say you think you have found "loose" connection which was the reason your nav lights kept going on/off

You might want to think about a muffler for your VHF fist mic.
As used by those three Iraqi merchant boats that have been circling in the Indian Ocean since January.
What happened to them?

I'd also relace the bulbs wit 50W one's and then even in daylight if you switch them on you'll be in the dark. What colour of sails will you be using?

I suspect they come from the same outfit that supply my pet hate - BOILs - thats Brake Operated Indicator Lights for the uninitiated. They seem to be standard fitments on many cars these days.
