That’s done! Now off to get my car IDP (International Driving Permit). I’ll be driving in France and Spain over the Brexit period so thought I’d better be covered. Interesting that I need separate ones for each country. Even before we joined the EU I could get an international driving licence covering dozens of countries through the RAC.

Bit of a correction
You don't need one for each country. its just that Spain and France are covered by different conventions (1949 and 1968) so need two IDP's. They look exactly the same as the ones supplied by the RAC years ago.
