is a B2B charger a good idea when motoring anyway? Currently using a VSR to combine the two.
Only really of interest to people with motorhomes, etc, which have "smart" alternators linked to the engine's ECU.

I totally understand what you’re saying. But I installed it to help get rid of the gnawing and nausea inducing feeling of anxiety I felt every time I approached the boat. This was after the washboards had been kicked in, and everything emptied out with nothing taken. It prevented me from going there for several months and I love being there. Knowing that I can go there in the knowledge that it is how I left it is worth more to me than the things I leave on board. It’s more about the invasion of ‘my’ space. I go there to reduce anxiety rather than increase it.So my radical suggestion is to sell it all on eBay and just accept the risk

Looks like I might go for one (regardless of any other daft plans).
