Somebody pulled the plug at LW this morning (Thames Coastguard had broadcast warnings of a negative tidal surge), good job the marina was dredged in October
The ship 'took' 6 inches or so off the water level but there was still a considerable amount of anti-foul showing and a list to starboard beforehand. While the tide was very low I am rather concerned that this a symptom of the basin silting up given we only dredged two months back.
Personnaly I try and avoid berthing or casting off while a ship is transiting (especially so near low water) and would have thought the dinghy fleet would learnt a similar lesson by now.
