Anybody else spot Cornelia well into Haslar Creek last night? Quite a sight.

I woke up this morning in Haslar to be startled by HMS Middleton creeping out very slowly with her 'sweeping' dayshapes showing. What exactly is a Routine Route Survey?

Lastly where did "Rame Head" and the scrap Type 42s go to?

I saw her on Fri eve, she reversed in through the harbour entrance, slowed off premier marina and did a full 360 turn with what looked like millions of gallons of water a minute spraying from both sides of her bow (it was the noise of this down below that made me poke my head out of the hatch!!), then went further into the harbour,

ARoutine Route Survey

It is a way of getting to know the area so if somebody drops something new in the route you will immediately recognise it a something different. It can be dealt with then.

They are always aware that any vessel can be a minesweeper...... once /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
