Sunseeker should resin infuse their top side, they where first in Britain to jump on this of the MB manufecterers.
Princess today infuse their hull with Diab Divinycell. Their is a lot of different technolgy around. Diab is one of the known players also used by Azimut, and Sunseeker for the top sides altough not the best.
Core-Cell is a better technolgy (especially to what regards Core), and Scrimp infusion system is better altough wieght saving are much less, but it is more fool proof.
The Diab system should save 40% in resin. With Scrimp you save only 10%. Altough resin starvation in some areas has been most of the problem in this kind of build.
It is interesting though that altough everyone is saying these boats should be lighter with resin infused I am seeing increased in weight in some of the bigger Princess and Azimut models. This is a very interesting debate considering that engines have also decreased in weight today.
I am not a big fan of resin infused mostly for the high attention needed during build. Any-one heard of Monday factory blues, or early weekend start from the resin people....
