Thank you lucky stars! It’ll make no sense anywayNo message received
Wi-Fi is terrible , but other than that it’s lovely . However , it isn’t so lovely in windy weather as it’s quite exposed .Impressed as a recent visitor. Hadn't been for a few years but now big Lidl, excellent showers, friendly staff, very convenient fuelberth, number 1 bus nearby to Weymouth or the Bill. Only gripes, essentially no WiFi on the visitors berths and a long walk to the dockhead.
e slow as I don’t use Mr GoogleThank you lucky stars! It’ll make no sense anyway
It certainly hadn't improved last summer when I was there. Unfortunately not much choice in the immediate area so eat aboard. I found the marina rather desolate, miles from anywhere and visitors pontoons are a long way from the facilities. Probably not helped by it pi**ing down with rain when we were there and being moored next to a ship which kept its diesel generators running all night,We were there last summer as a Haslar visitor they eventually accommodated us on the long pontoon near the lift out. Facilities are excellent but not on pontoon unlike Haslar . My main issue is that the on site cafe is dire and yet when they first built marina it was very good. I just cannot believe how boatfolk allowed the current tenants to run the place but maybe some connection has led to the poor quality of burgers, slow orders, grumpy staff etc. clearly one can go elsewhere but be interested to hear if it’s improved. It’s very sad as the site /interior is fine but let down by the food we found. Helicopters practising landing can be interesting sight, but best entertainment is a bus ride to the lighthouse with a really informative bus driver.
YesIs it all states of tide.
