Is anyone near or in Port Yasmine the moment? There is a boat for sale there that I am interested in.

Any info on the marina would be nice.

Big well established marina at HAMMAMET. Major tourist resort.. A couple of years ago we sailed into Tunisia but not Yasmine.. Most of the marinas were a bit run down and a couple silted up so we could not get in! Since the revolution and the massacre tourism has plummeted. Not many wealthy Tunisians around to own boats. At the time foreign office recommendations were not to go there. We never felt threatened but we speak french which helped... I think the only risk is the port is silted up and you can´t get a boat our but probably a phone call to the harbour office would sort that although my experience tells me it would be better to go and look rather than believe everything you are told... Certainly avoid crowds of tourists..

Good to know , we was having a BBQ with him and his wife in Feb and I had his card but can't find it now . His a good guy and very helpful
