Hi looking at a boat for sale that is berthed here and was wondering if you guys could give me any pro’s or cons to the marina. Thanks in anticipation ??

We rented a house overlooking the marina a few years back at this time of year. The weather was excellent but the marina was extremely quiet with almost no bars or restaurants open. And the marina is very much out on a limb at the end of of the sand spit protecting the Mar Menor. Quite a long drive to get anywhere, and apparently very busy in summer. Lots of high rise buildings, we found the surrounding area very soul less. The marina itself is well protected and well maintained with easy access to both the sea and the Mar Menor.

As per LJS - it is a nice marina in the summer, but dead as a door nail any other time. Lots of marinas in the area though so if you decide to buy the boat plenty of alternatives from small quiet spots to big towns and cities on the door step.

Yep. La manga strip is Easter to Sept really as everything closes up when summers done
Very busy indeed when it’s open and the drive from the expressway to that marina is a PITA with traffic lights every 1/2 mile not sync either
