Pont Aven Ferry

I thought we just paid them £50M to have spare capacity this month because of Brexit?
They left me stranded in Santander two weeks ago. Their attitude sucked. They told me to drive 11hrs to Roscoff. They reckon they don’t owe me any compensation.
We’ll see about that!
They are spending some of the £50 million on vessel maintenance.

I suspect that it has kept BF sailing in and out of Plymouth for the next five years and we have a lovely extension to the car park to take all the lorries when we eventually need to use a French company to keep the goods moving.

A couple of days ago, I received this from Brittany Ferries

I'm sorry to confirm that following a technical fault, Pont-Aven is currently unable to operate at its usual cruising speed. As a consequence all Pont-Aven sailings originally scheduled to depart from, or sail into, Portsmouth will now use PLYMOUTH for the rest of this season. This will ensure all sailings can be completed but I accept and regret this may cause some inconvenience.
The ship has been in dry-dock for some time but is now ready to return to service, albeit at a slightly slower speed.

I see this morning that she is now in Cork so maybe she is back in service.
