SW news said Pont Aven not sailing because of maintainance works presumably on the engines

They are spending some of the £50 million on vessel maintenance.
I suspect that it has kept BF sailing in and out of Plymouth for the next five years and we have a lovely extension to the car park to take all the lorries when we eventually need to use a French company to keep the goods moving.

Reported to be something to do with hydraulics, possibly steering. Out of commission for another week.

Reported this morning that it will now be out of commission until at least June 15th.

A couple of days ago, I received this from Brittany Ferries
I'm sorry to confirm that following a technical fault, Pont-Aven is currently unable to operate at its usual cruising speed. As a consequence all Pont-Aven sailings originally scheduled to depart from, or sail into, Portsmouth will now use PLYMOUTH for the rest of this season. This will ensure all sailings can be completed but I accept and regret this may cause some inconvenience.
The ship has been in dry-dock for some time but is now ready to return to service, albeit at a slightly slower speed.
I see this morning that she is now in Cork so maybe she is back in service.
