It's interesting to see different habits, for most posters the alternative seems to be sleeping naked, I have never slept naked -even at home-since maybe a few months old when I only

Do you put your pyjamas back on after, you know what then ? Depending of course on cabin temperatures .

I have two pairs for the boat. One pair being lightweight and one pair winter weight.

At the moment, I think the whole household are still wearing them.

Surely, it's part of being British .
No, or not now.

They used to be common garments worn on RORC China Sea races.

The races go from HK to either (alternate years) San Fernando or Manilla. The races were held at Easter and could start in weather demanding a full set of foul weather gear. As the yachts went south, on a roughly SE course, the weather improved and it would not be long you were sailing in light winds on blue seas and cloudless skies.

PJs were found to be ideal gear, all covering, baggy, lightweight - and if you chose wisely, cotton. They kept the sun at bay, all you further needed was a wide brimmed hat.
