Pole clips

Got a spinnacker pole, but have nothing aling the rail to clip it to to store it. The stanchion bases have no ring to clip it to.

Is there a simple solution?

Can't store it on the mast as there is only a fixed ring there and it doesn't allow enough space.

Simple strop made out of 3mm dynema and tied to the stanchion. One end of my pole has that, the other is on a stanchion base.

Yes, that suits your boat very well.

Fitted timber split chocks on a stanchion with a long 'U' bolt and another on the pullpit - the spinnaker pole snaps onto them, sits at an angle.

On my previous boat, I had a couple of snap shackles clipped to the top guard wire, and the pole clipped to them.
