polar plots

Most German sailing magazines publish them with their boat tests.

If you have LOTS of measurements (LOA,LPP,BWL,Bmax, Draught, displ, ballast, freeboard, FB FWD & aft. full rig measurements etc) I have som VPP software which will get you pretty close - but if you can find originals then obviously that is easier. What my VPP software will give you is optimum up and downwind angles for a range of True (or apparent) wind speeds.
