We're going on Saturday. What's the easiest way to get there by car / parking?
We have booked in to park & ride at Swanwick Marina. The buses run every 20-30 minutes and drop you off at the door.

Marlands car park in Southampton is only £5 all day, and it's only a 5 minute walk to the main show entrance.
Do the marshals actually have the right to keep you away. If it is a water way etc. Or can you just give them the time honoured 2 finger salute
Thanks, will it still have spaces at 10:30 on Sat?
I worked at the show for a number of years in the 90s...just demo-ing ribs and stuff...even then the marshall boats had something amazing...called a VHF radio... which they were perfectly happy to use to call the Police patrol boat up to deal with idiots who wouldnt obey the restrictions and got all lairy....theres always one.....
And who said anything about being lairy. If the rules are backed up by any laws then fine but if it is just the Marshals overstepping their authority then it is them being lairy. As you say there is always one and it seems to be you thinking people in supposed authority can just make their own rules
It would be good if there was space on the pontoon for a few day visitors, I'm sure some go that way if was an option.
