Please help identify the boat ( 1974 Mirage 26 ?)

I have this recollection of Mirage yachts being used for flotillas in the Med around the Greek islands in late 80s and my hazy recollection was they had black tinted windows and presumably were chosen as they had a rustic simplicity and durability ? It might be that other forumites can share more info though on how these survived .

Yes, I've heard they were charter boats at the time. @sarabande - no particulars on sailboat data fits, and nowhere else I was looking for. Even (now appearing defunct) Mirage association seems to know nothing about them.

Wikipedia seems to have it pegged as a Robert Perry design.

On the face of it, it looks a very good buy. I would be having a look sharpish, good luck

I am on the market for 22-28' cruiser and one of the boats I am looking for is this:

However, my extensive search did not result in finding a tech spec matching the description and I wonder what is it really?

I think it really is an early Mirage 26, built by Thames Marine on Canvey Island and designed by Robert Feltham. Later boats (from perhaps 1976 on?) had the characteristic one-piece dark plastic windows.

Here's a pic of Mirage 26s being built in 1976, from Robert Monk's home page (he was Factory Manager there at the time).
