If you have bought or think of buying from Plastimo dont expect any assistance or information once you have purchased.

I have now written to them three times without any response.

Plastimo still exist. It has a web site and is owned by a quoted company.

You are right that it is a mess.

You don't say which Plastimo product you have an issue with, Richard. The 'new' Plastimo is a hugely trimmed-down version of the old one with a far smaller product range. If you bought one of their products, fine, that's to whom you should address your problem. Trouble is, most 'Plastimo' stuff bought in recent years has nothing to do with them, nor will they have any expertise about it.

I have an elderly Neptune 200 which I want serviced. Plastimo still have cookers in their catalogue. I emailed both the French and English site hoping for a contact using their email system without any response. Filed under too hard I expect. I now expect some support from the chandlers I use. I now use "Rue de la Mer" whose after sales service I cannot praise too highly.

The cooker was not made by Plastimo, but by LP in Bolton. The latest types are now branded by Bainbridge. You will have more luck with cooker spares and assistance from Peter Spreadborough at Calor Gas in Southampton. They carry the best range of spares and give technical advice. No connection - just satisfied customer.
