Plastic Diesel Tank Drain.

Had a vetus type top mount fitting on a boat that always leaked when full...found out the o ring forming the seal was about 4mm thick...got one of 5 mm thick from other supplier...cost next to nothing..did it up tight...QED..no more problems..these o rings come in half a mm increments for thickness.

Thank you one and all. I shall not be fitting a drain.
It makes good sense to use a clear plastic tube to sample the bottom of my tank, and an extractor to remove any sediment/sludge/water, should that be required.
