Places to liveaboard near NL-German border?

Hi,
My plans may change again...
Looking for a nice/cheap/safe marina/boatyard near North German-Dutch border (Hamburg area?) on the German side but as close as possible to NL.
Boat can be on the hard during Winter months as long as we can live on it and the place have functional showers/toilets...

Hamburg's nowhere near the Netherlands border. However, Borkum is the closest German island to the Netherlands and might suit your needs. Not only that but also it's a beautiful island. Connection to the mainland is by ferry.

My life was very stormy lately but as things looks right now my boat will be transported after all to north Italy by next Summer.
