I'm at sea, heading to Whitby and am about to cook a fray bentos steak and kidney pudding.

The problem is, to get the right amount of water in the pan to cook it, I have to have the little pan brimming.

Is it going to go wrong?

The answer will be posted in 50 minutes... or sooner.

You are using the wrong size pot/pan. :)

It's the only one I have. I worked though. Currently munching a steak and kidney pie, covered in BBQ sauce, about three hours south of Whitby. Lovely! haha.

I might have the energy to skip Whitby and continue northwards at this rate.

Whitby is worth a visit. It's a lot prettier than Hartlepool. and there is a supermarket right next to the pontoon in Whitby.

Oh, big boat sailors just don't get it. Go to Staithes. There is a wee shoppie and no one else ever visits.

Just passing Staiths now actually. I did stop in Whitby, but didn't get to see much. Spent the night on the waiting pontoon since I missed the bridge, then set off again this morning.

I wished I could have stayed longer to explore. It seemed like a truly fantastic place.
