Vela Rose - 4 adults, one very tiny, very excited mini-pirate
Wunja - Currently working on a plan requiring a transit van, tent and mini pirate and does not involve sitting in Dovercourt for 5 hours.
Black Magic - 2 or 3 adults + 1 or 2 children. Depending on lots of variables.
simon_and_tanja - 2 large novice pirates + 2 small novice pirates + cutlasses and a 12-pounder (...just kidding!)
Croix des Gardes - 3 adults, 2 angle grinders, weaponary.
Lodesman - 1 adult, 1 or two teenagers...
Barbican Bill (in abstentia) - unknown quantity - but poss 5 adults

Try to leave Blackwater Friday night to get a spurt on.
Prob go into Brightingsea over night,push on Sat morning.

Apologies for the blowout , but needs must and all that :o:o

anyway millbeach if you can persuade yr better half its a easy trip - straight up the wallet , chuck a left at pye end bouy and follow the other boats to the beach and dont for get to tie yr hook on before you lob it over the side :D:D:D
 
bad news from team Black Magic

Talk about bad things coming in threes. First ostende fuel disaster, second car probs and now looks highly unlikely we will make it to the pirates as marc has had a motorbike accident.... fractured pelvis and internal bleeding. Will be in hospital for several days now at best guess.
