I know - so many forecasts (most likely all wrong).

Forecasts ruined last summer for me - all doom and gloom. Stayed in, only to be cursing myself by mid afternoon - we should have gone.

A man with a watch knows the time.
A man with two watches is never sure.

You're not one to bear a grudge, are you? /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I had hoped married life would have mellowed you somewhat /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Anyway, you can't go wrong with a 2-4 variable. Just ask Michael Fish.
It's MetOffice speak for: "Not an effing clue, mate"

What Jim neglects to mention is that your 2 to 4 variable was in fact totally accurate , we had everything from almost flat calm to a couple of tornados and horizontal rain with all other boats going in the opposite direction , so pretty accurate in the 'variable' I would say /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

A Guapacast is worth drinking to /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif it could turn into the equivelant of a Lakesailoring where the forum's concerned /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Looks like I will be single handed as my replacement crew now has to work on Saturday.

Looking at the Saturday morning forcast (SW 17knots) wind against tide I may not bring the hard dinghy as it will be a liability in those seas.

Blimey Dave that a rare insight!

They would be perfect, arguing the merits of the Gibsea 77 against the Evo25 all the way there and back.

I think the Evo wins, but thats just IMHO.

That is good.
Thank you.
I am much happier to leave the dinghy on our mooring.
I will have the inflatable with me

Dave
Bernie would be welcome to join me but I am not sure that the accomodation abord Sirenia is up to her standard.
We have not referbished below decks yet.
On job list for winter 2008/9.

I want to use Sirenia as I have not been abord for 2 weeks and will not be down next weekend.
