Anyway, I have just read the whole thread, and Alan??, your an absolute Hero!!.. Very very well done sir!!

The observant amongst you will have noticed that my keyboard seems to have given u with tying (another word for wee). Time to ost on another forum where some smartarse will quickly tell me how to fix it.

Gary - we all have our fingers crossed. Doing the challenge and getting there was fantastic - getting home will be something else.

I make that 148 miles - something wrong - 148 miles in a day in a Centaur - I don't believe it!
