Pink stains on white vinyl - a solution!

That's a shame. Hope they give you a satisfactory response. What was wrong with it - remained tacky?
Exactly that - not too bad to the touch, but when they are in contact with anything else for more than 5 minutes, they stick together! I brought the seats home in the car, and there was a patch of white paint on the black leather car seat when I got home :-(

HOWEVER..... I've sorted the tackiness out I think! Kilrock Pro Sealant and Adhesive Remover from Wickes. Always have a tin in the garage as it's amazing stuff, but it's active ingredient is naptha, although it's more like a gel than a liquid so it sticks to the surface to help break down the stickiness.

It took some shifting, but it broke down the paint layers nicely, and it appears to have left a nice white base layer which is smooth to the touch. The seats are outside now enjoying some sun, so will check them in a couple of hours to make sure they're dry and not dissolved!!
