I'd never sailed in a pilot house boat before, and now I'll never sail in such cold weather without one. Never. Open cockpits are for masochists in 3 deg C before extreme windchill. That was PURE LUXURY.

I can also vouch for Chris Robb knowing a thing or two about handling long keel boats in close quarters in a wind. That, and I've seen many powerboaters enter slips at slower speeds ;)

Jim, Glad to see Glen Rosa is at least back to UK shores. Good luck with the Poole-Hythe trip - should be a piece of cake.
