Sorry about lack of response to your post reprimanding me for thread drift,but your computer image gave me thoughts of Pauline B,so I googled Pink Pussy(images) and had to lie down in a darkened room for a couple of hours to recover.

Wow! Shackleton.
When I was a little schoolboy a bloke called Green(I think) came to give a magic lantern show at our school. He had been on the Shackleton expedition and he showed us the original pics of these. I remember he told us that the crew all had to spend all day cutting ice from around the ship to prevent it being crushed and one fell into the freezing water and was taken back on board and given hot rum.
The others all started "falling" in but were just given reconstituted dried milk.
He never told us about the bird though (other than eating penguins , raw)

I visited his grave a couple of years ago - tradition to pour Guinness over him. Moving. I've been reading about Antarctic exploration for decades, since the trans-ant expedition in the fifties. Lucky lucky you, meeting someone who was there.

I had a friend who was was very slim and muscular and her boob job was done subglandular. It was never very succesful. I think she had them changed 3 times but they still were a bit sticky-outy (sideways as well) and dragged down on the flesh of her upper chest.
The surgeon reckoned her couldn't do them submuscular because of her small chest wall and strong muscles. She was a runner and a bit of a fitness freak.
